‘Eastwood’ to vie at Copenhagen filmfest

Iranian documentary ‘Eastwood’ has made its way to the Copenhagen International Documentary Film Festival in Denmark.

Directed by Alireza Rasoulinejad, the doc will vie at the main competition section of the 18th edition of the event.

‘Eastwood’ narrates the story of an amateur filmmaker who, after seeing a picture of a man like Clint Eastwood in a newspaper, sets out on a journey to find him.

A short part of this film was shot in Tehran and the main part of the film was shot in Sirjan city and its surrounding villages.

Copenhagen International Documentary Film Festival is one of the biggest documentary film festivals in the world.

The 2021 edition of the event is slated for April 21 – May 2.
